We want to welcome and support you….

CLEAR Project is working with Southampton Citizens Advice Service to provide wraparound support to guests under the Homes for Ukraine Sponsorship scheme in the Southampton City Council region. This support includes welfare visits to guests throughout the whole of their sponsorship, through both home and office visits. Please contact us via email at HFU@sotoncab.org.uk if you need support.

The Ukraine Permission Extension scheme (UPE) came into effect on 4th February 2025 – if you’re a Ukrainian national, or the family member of a Ukrainian national, and are living in the UK with existing permission on one of the Ukraine schemes, you may be eligible to apply for UPE to continue living in the UK for up to a further 18 months. It is free to apply.

You will need to make an application online. If your application is successful, you will be able to continue to live, work and study in the UK and access public funds. Information is available here.

Local people have responded to the arrival of people from Ukraine including the Southampton Ukrainian Community Support Group who meet on a Monday from 16:00 to 18:00 at the Edmund Kell Unitarian Church, Bellevue Road, Southampton SO15 2AY.

If you live outside the Southampton City Council region, you will need to contact your local council/authority.
