Course Level
For students with English at or above Entry 3 or B1. While this course is targeted at Entry 3 students at CLEAR, we welcome other applicants with an ESOL background who are interested in employment in retail or hospitality.
Course Details
CLEAR’s Welcome Host course develops customer service and communication skills that apply to shop work, hospitality, and public-facing volunteer roles. Those who complete the course will receive an industry-recognised ‘Welcome Host Gold’ certificate from Tourism South East.
Students will:
- Increase their understanding of customer service expectations in the UK
- Develop and practise customer service skills
- Improve knowledge of local facilities and services
- Develop speaking confidence for interacting with customers in the workplace and to help with job interviews.
