We urgently need a volunteer ESOL tutor to teach our Entry 3 Level learners on a Thursday afternoon (12:45-14:45), ideally able to start on the 22nd September. We do ask for a minimum 6-months commitment to provide stability and continuity for our learners.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering ESOL lessons in accordance with the Scheme of Work provided, as part of the tutor team at CLEAR and with the support of the Lead Tutor and Learning Manager.

You will hold the relevant qualifications (CELTA, TESOL or other relevant experience/qualification) and be committed to developing as a teacher, including the use of technology and digital resources to support learning.

You will also be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, being patient and encouraging, with good communication and organisational skills.

The role is a fantastic opportunity to join a great team that are making a real difference in people’s lives – empowering and helping them to integrate into society.

We are committed to building a culture of safeguarding and to promote the welfare of children, young people, and adults at risk. We actively promote the positive value of diversity and are committed to equality and eliminating discrimination, wherever possible. We welcome and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds.
